T. Monica Jones is a Georgia native born in South Georgia. Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a double minor in business and political science from Seton Hill College in 1992. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from Villanova School of Law in 1996. Since earning her State Bar license in 1996, Monica has had the opportunity to devote her energies to business development with local advertising companies as well as serve as a solo practitioner and collaborate with other law firms as of counsel or contract counsel. As a solo practitioner, Monica’s practice included family law, residential real estate, landlord/tenant, immigration and probate law.

Monica found her true calling in the legal industry after attending a real estate closing with her father. In May 2017, the right set of circumstances came together and resulted in Monica accepting an attorney’s position with a well-known real estate law firm, where Monica got to practice residential real estate law exclusively. In September 2021, life presented Monica with a golden opportunity and Monica joined The Fryer Law Firm, allowing her to continue practicing (what she says “lights up her day and brings continued joy”) residential real estate. For Monica, real estate is more than a transaction but an experience. It is an experience that begins well before any parties draft a contract or get to the closing table. Monica prefers to be brought in early on before a contract is written to ensure that the experience is seamless, deeply engaging and fulfilling for all.

Monica is a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), State Bar of Georgia and Real Property Law Section.
